You need to meet at least one of the following to qualify as an Accredited Investor:
1. Income Test
Individual: Annual income over $200,000 in each of the two most recent calendar years, and a reasonable expectation of the same in the current year.
Joint: Combined annual income over $300,000 with a spouse or domestic partner in each of the two most recent years, and a reasonable expectation of the same in the current year. Income can include salary, wages, commissions, and other compensation, but must be verifiable.
2. Net Worth Test
Net worth (assets minus liabilities) over $1 million, excluding the value of your primary residence. Applies individually or jointly with a spouse/partner.
3. Professional Credentials
Investment professionals in good standing holding including-
Series 7 (general securities representative)
Series 65 (investment adviser representative)
Series 82 (private securities offerings representative)
4. Entity Status Entities
Assets over $5 million (corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, 501(c)(3) organizations, employee benefit plans, family offices, etc.).
Entities where all equity owners are accredited investors.
