The Life & Death of Julius Caesar
A modern adaptation of this classic piece of drama centers around sexuality, gender and LGBTQ+ themes. Continuing the legacy of the late Kyle Holton, the staging style features contemporary movement and music (La Roux), as well as non-traditional casting. The story is told as a “remix” of the original text— with multiple scenes being played at once. Transforming a historical, time-honored epic into a brand new show that is exciting and culturally relevant.
Bon Stelle (Translation: “Good Star”)
Theatre herstory would not be the same without pioneer Jessie Bonstelle— Broadway’s forgotten first female director. In 1912, she made her mark by gaining the rights to adapt Mary Alcott’s novel Little Women for theatre audiences. It was a Broadway hit that cemented her career. This play is a biographical piece that highlights her legacy. It is set to begin Broadway development soon.
A film and series about her life are currently in development.
